harescramble quad ktm ?

is there any cons to turning the 450sx into a harescrambler compared to just buying a xc i found a killer deal on a sx that im going to get but if there are problems turning it into a xc bike ill just set it up as a back up mx bike
any thoughts or comments please post im wanting to build a xc

Biggest down fall is those engines are not long winded and tend to over heat on long runs. I was originally going to get a sx but after a little research I found you can get a ton of power from the xc with them being reliable as well.

thats what i figured since it geared more towards mx it would get hot on long runs i just needed to find out before i built it that way, either way im getting the spare sx though:) but also on lookout for reliable xc
