Are the wb rev kits any good? Do they really hurt or do any thing to the engine?

i dont think they are worth it cause a 400ex makes its peak hp well befpore the rev kicks in and i dont think its worth it to rec it that high and not make more power. i would spend the money on something else to get more power instead of revs

they don't really do anything unless you have some major motor mod's done, stock 400ex motor stops making power at about 8000 RPM revving it any higher than that is basicaly useless[unless you have motor mods cam-etc...]

Wg rev kit is no good i went with the rev kit from http://www.mphracingltd.com and it gave me a huge horse increase 4 actually on the dyno and an agressive rev curve and i dont have engine mods. I would suggest it to anyone with a 400ex over a WB rev kit.

oh boy! haha i got the WB and its great. honestly i dont belive the 4hp gain on an advanced ignition curve with a stock 400ex.

Horse power isnt everything! the rpms give are not about the power! there is a great mid range peak and yes it does drop dramaticly at about 9.3 grand, but you still got about 20 hp your playing with! (look at the dynos)

as for the RPMs you gain about 5 mph on stock gearing. you cango a gear lower up hills and still fall back on you peak befor you stall. and for 100 bucks its got the best performance to price ratio in my opinion.
