anyone have any info on getting an aftermarket rear shock for an atc250r? either set up directly for it or revalving a 250r quad rear shock. any help would be appreciated

i have 2 atc s both running stock length 86 swingarms at the moment. i dont weigh much but fresh rebuilt stock shocks dont cut. i run mx tracks fast snowmobile trails and sand pits. i need more progressive damping and better bottoming resistance. the 330 has adjustable link but i usually run stock ride hight

whats the stock shock length it should be the same as a trx, but it doesn't hurt to double check.

if its the same as trx just pick up a shock aftermarket used off the forum and try it out if it doesn't suit you have it revalved.

stock for stock 3 wheeler shock is half inch longer than quad. not sure about aftermarket. not worried about that, so if anyone has shock that is better than original let me know. just dont feel like buying a brand new elka at this time
