Tie Rod Video

Does anyone know or have a video of how to adjust tie rods on a 400ex or a sport quad?

Loosen the 2 jam nuts on the tie rod (one is a left handed thread, so they will both turn the sam way). then rotate the tie rod to adjust the toe in/toe out.

To keep the handlebars straight while you do this, use a tie strap on each side of the bars and strap it to the grab bar. This way your bars won't turn while you adjust them.

Once you have them close, take a step back and get a better look.. use broom handles and put them beside the tires to emphasize the angle..

Don't forget to re-tighten your jam nuts..
