my ? is the 7ball better or the 8 ball better because i got a new set from boss bearing and there are 7 ball but the ones in the bike are 8. just what to know before i put them in.

In the middle of rebuilding my bottom end now and went with the 8 ball bearing rather than the stock 7 it had in it. ESR sells the 8 ball and that is what I went with. My seven ball lasted since new in 88, so....

so your saying i should get the 8 ball for sure .it is a 330 motor to

I was recommended going with the 8 ball, but no one really gave me a good reason to get the 8 vs the 7. Just be sure that whatever ones you buy, you buy Honda.

well i just ordered a set from esr tom said there are 8ball and they are koyo bearings made in japan. witch are the same ones that iam am changing now. they dont look bad to me but i ran it for five years and the guy i got it off of said he had it all redone 2 or 3 year before i bought it so there are at least 7 years old. i dont what to take a chance on them going out is the only reason iam changing them. if they last another 7 years with the new ones i will be happy.
