Ok to re-use stock cam?

I just finished tearing down the 400 for a top end rebuild. I plan to upgrade to a larger bore size and 10:1 compression. I measured the stock cam lobes with a micrometer and the cam is within the useable limits. Is it ok to re-use the stock cam with a built motor (larger bore & higher compression)? Would there be any negative effects?

No negatives, but its rather pointless when a hotcams only 130 bucks and will give you a better powerband.

Just take a pen and run it across the lobes if i catches on little blemishes and **** then for sure don't reuse the cam. Also you can get some more power from the stage 2 hot cam.
