If its April issue its prolly Apirl Fools. With the 2 stroke law coming up in a few years, I doubt many more 2 smokers are made.

first before i say this..let me just say THIS IS PROBABLY A APRIL FOOLS JOKE.

now with that out of the way listen to this: it is possible that it could happen. in case you don't know the motor from the banshee is out of the old yamaha street bike the rz350. well the RZ350 had a bigger brother, the RZ500. it was powervalved too (actually the rz350 was powervalved also but this was taken off the banshee motor for some reason). so a 500cc banshee is not totally out of the question but it won't happen.

actually i think the name of the bikes were RD's not rz's. sorry bout that.

i dought they would ever build it if they really wanted to make the shee colse to they top again all they would have to do is put the powervaluse (sp?) on the shee motor that is out now, and upgrade the chassie and stuff a bit some better shocks and they're set :D

Yeah RZ350. If they used the RZ500 though, it wouldn't be a V-twin. That was their V4 500cc GP bike. The RZ350 was a side by side motor (as opposed to a v-twin). If you look on MacDizzy's site he put a 500 GP motor in a LT500 chassis. Man those things sound nice. Too bad they all (GP bikes)went to 4 strokes.
