View Full Version : House A Arm question
This question is for a my friend he bought +2 House long travel Arms for his 440ex. The lower arms dont say houser on them so he doesn't know which side goes where.
Each lower Arm has a curve to it so he needs to know if the curve goes towards the front or back?

The curve on the a arms should be facing the back of the quad.
If you are looking at the front of the quad the front lower a arms should just have a straight bar.

Heres a pic of how the a arms should set on the quad.
Thanks but I still cant tell from that pic how they go, his don't have writing on them. I just need to know which way the bend of the arm goes towards.

I actually just received my +1 Housers earlier today. I can look at the instructions and see what direction they go, I remember seeing that in the instructions when I looked through them earlier. It'll be sometime tomorrow before I can get back to you though.

Right and Left as if you were sitting on the quad...
Thanks for the help but those aren't the a-arms either. Heres of them showing how they curve.
I guesss its clear by the pic that the curve due to the writing curves towards the back, and thats the way he has it.
I just don't understand I
m running a 400ex frame same length swing arm and side by side my front is like 3in longer than his. I mean i'm running RollDesign but there both +1 forward. I guess every bikes different

I got an instruction manual on how to put mine on, it didn't really cover my particular a-arms but it did help when it came to the camber and caster adjustment. Here's a pic from the manual on how they should be installed, your arms aren't quite the same but the stickers face forward so I don't see how you would get them mixed up.
