so i been shopping at rockymountainatvmc.com alot in the past week for various accessories and what not and came across some Uni Filter Air Box vents (http://www.rockymountainatvmc.com/p/43/72/473/1429/-/6786/Uni-Filter-Air-Box-Vents)
they are reletively cheap for 6 of them compaired to the outerwears

Has any one used these and do they give you a good air flow into the air box as an alternative to just cutting holes in the top and leaving it open to excess dirt

But wouldnt airbox vents be the same thing as drilling holes or even taking the lid off?

I think it would get you slightly more power, but it wouldn't quite be the same as running no lid or an EHS lid. My friend had some of them on his Warrior and didn't really see a difference than without them.

I do what chris borich does...

run no lid, but put a 1" thick layer of foam over the top of it. Works great!

I read that in dirtwheels and tried it and it actually works...

Who would have thought that the 3x GNCC atv champion would know what he is talking about! haha :D

They arent big enough to actually allow enough air in imho.

Run the outwears lid or buy the material from them and a trip to home depot and some time and you make your own.

Sorry! lol

I cut the airbox lid.. Ill upload a generic pic real quick to give you guys an idea.

But i cut the foam to fit tightly under the airbox lid, to where the box lid holds it on.

Its almost like a power lid, but custom.
