Guys i've got a question. So today I checked the compression on my 05 and in the crymer book it said that the compression should be between 100-125 psi. Well mine was 150psi and I had the choke off and trottle wide open like they say in the book. Stock motor with 175 hours on it (i've got a oem hour meter that was installed at the factory but it recently broke) just a stage 2 hot cam. Why is my compression so high not that its a bad thing but jw??

Could be alot of carbon build up due to oil burning.

Could also be the duration of the cam effecting it as well.

Mines 150 psi iirc.

Read this: http://www.gregsengine.com/cylinder-compression-testing.html and this http://www.carcraft.com/techarticles/116_0406_cylinder_leakdown_tester/viewall.html
