View Full Version : Laeger makeover!

Decided it was time to build my R just how I want it while I have the down time, stripping everything to the frame and getting fresh paint and new hardware. Switching my LSR front end for a Laeger's LT +2, swapping LSR swinger for a matching Laeger's swinger, PEP PB1 shocks all the way around, new wheels/tires and sending everything else to the powder coater. At this point I have everything stripped and repairing a broken motor mount and steering stop on my LSR frame. The previous owner tried fixing the steering stop and abosuletly butchered it, so I'm making some gussets and fixing the eye sore.

I'm not a big fan of chrome and its a bia to keep clean.

Frame is getting a "blood red" powder, and everything else will stay neutral and grey colors. I like the look of clean colors, the red/silver will make this machine look sleek and clean.

BTW if anyone's interested in the part's i'm replacing I have them for sale.
