250X to 350X

hey, im thinkin about a 350x conversion.. i was just wonderin, does the 350x fit? does the 350x have reverse? & is it worth swapin the 250 for the 350? any tips would be great!

will it fit? yes with mounts from powroll.com. the exhaust will need to be modified to fit the mounts in back too.

reverse? no, 6spd though

better? YES if you can find an engine


i druel of doing this conversion one day....no money though. its totally worth it from what ive heard

The 350x is one of the best motor/tranny combos. I would highly recomend this if you are going to do a conversion.

holy crap! its a 6 speed? geez, that would keep up with a stock 400ex, wouldnt it? im hoping to buy a beat up old 350x & do a conversion.. now, to find one around here shouldnt be too hard.. buy one fer about $1500 do a conversion & would the 250x fit in the 350x frame?

im going to do this conversion when i get money from my shocks or engine. From what ive read, it is suppose to have almost double the horsepower and suppose to be faster then a 400ex.

The 350x motor will put the 300ex motor to shame
Its a purty easy swap (I've seen it done).
A local mechanic (friend) won the 300-500cc 1/4 mile drag 4-stroke class with his 300ex framed 350x a few years ago. And it wasn't a radical motor either (definatley not stock though).
Its definatley worth it! the 350x is a kickstart, 6-speed, no reverse motor.
