Hey guys. I have that Burgard swingarm on my 89 quad. The front chain slider he sent with it is the 88/89 style. Mounting the chain and sprockets on that thing tonight I noticed the slider is not aligned with where the chain should be and it is even crooked. It looks like I need a spacer behind where it is bolted up to push the back side of it out.
Or do I need the 86/87 style chain slider? From looking at pictures on ebay, it looks like that style has a spacer molded on the backside. This would make sense since the 86/87 swinger is steel like the Burgard. I don't know why he would send the wrong one.
Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.
