Looking for 400ex cylinder and head

Im looking for a 400ex cylinder and head, perferably scratched head and 85-86mm bore. Any condition head, looking to practice boring and porting so damaged close to stock bore, and stock head with or without valves. Also plan on paypal and shipped. Thanks !

Buddy of mine has some that are messed up. Bolt holes on them are all elongated iirc. I know he has the head, not sure about the cylinder-might just have the jug itself. Ill let you know.

Just talked to him. he has both the cyl with sleeve in it (least he thinks the sleeves in it) and the head. Both sets of holes that hold the valve cover in are messed up.

Make him an offer he says.

I got a guy that does part outs that sells them 80/ cylinder 150/ good head. If the valve cover holes are messed up id give $50 for the head and what bore is the cyl?

I have a head that has a very very small crack and one valve guide on the exhaust side that is in good shape other than it wont hold a valve seal. I can send pics

hi i am he guy cjm is talking about. the head is basicly unuseable unless u can fix allmost all the valve cover threads. the cylinder is useable it does have one of the long bolt from the valve cover snaped in it but it never leaked for me. and i would have to check the sleeve but it should be stock size but would have to be bored to use it which is great for u. i could totally do 50 for the head shot me a offer for the cylinder

welp i bouth a helicoil set for the 6 or 8 mm threads in the 400ex so i have about 54 m6 thread patterns haha
