Tie rod question

I'm looking for +2 tie rods and I found some that are 9/16 diameter. Will they work with my stock tie rod ends?

They should work fine because all tie rod ends are the same. The diameteter might be larger but the threads should not be. Usually aftermarket tie rods are a lot bigger in diameter

if your looking for +2 tie-rods for a 400 use stock honda 450r rods.


IF thats what you were looking to install them on

Yeah, I just got +2 a arms for my 400ex. Stock 450r tie rods will be the right length with those arms on?

i just purchased a new set of ALBA +2 a-arms and the ones they sent me were +3 rods... i took my buddies stock 450r rod and measured and it was the correct size.

installed and adjusted PERFECT on my new +2 a-arms



p.s. if you go on ebay and search STOCK Honda 450r tie-rod you will get a total length (14") and then search STOCK Honda 400ex tie-rod and you will get a total length (12")
