Its almost "cheaper" to buy new. Once you throw in spring change, etc. it's better to get one setup for your bike and fresh. The retail on an Axis is $995.

My Lobo no link uses a 17.25" shock, same for XC or MX.

Planning to buy a complete new set of Axis. I misquoted pricing above. New is $975, might want to check with a couple distributors for a better deal. it's ease of mind to have shocks built for you, just my $.02.

I talked to Micah yesterday about the technical stuff.

i have a lonestar mx no link chassis with a dc4 no link swinger and im not sure if it calls for a 17.00 ,17.25 or 17.50. i have a 18.50 elka and a dc4 swinger that i picked up and the shock is way too long.

Elka says 18.5" eye to eye for the DC-4

Custom axis says 18.25" eye to eye for the DC-4 and 17.5" eye to eye for the DC-2

Is it a hybrid? I bought a custom axis from LSR for the 250R and it's 17" long maybe 17.25. Brand new

Either way its' sitting not being used, but it's valved for xc 180lb rider.

I would take $600 shipped for it. It's single spring.
