Cooling Fan?

Was just wondering how many of you guys actually run the Radiator fan or have removed it?

I race mostly mx and fast trail riding and I DON'T run a t-stat. Engines seems to stay pretty cool.

Anyone else not running one?

Yeah if you don't do any slow riding or let it idle too long the fan isn't necessarily.

I think Ive seen mine on like twice in 6 years lol.
I just leave it on for security.

Though I would run a thermostat if you ever run in cooler weather. Cooler isn't always better.

No t stat or fan here either. You can also lose the regulator, rectifier if you are a kicker and don't run lights. Also no overflow tank.

+1 On leavn the t stat in during cold weather. Bike runs best when its up to operating temp.

I originally took it out because I didn't want the t stat to fail during a race and cause overheating or worse.

But thats good to here I'll just leave mine out:devil:
