Not while tightening, while riding surprisingly...
Is this bolt needed to keep the carrier at a constant spot, or is it just used for moving the carrier? I've been using a sledge to move the axle to get the tension right since the adjuster broke. But since that stud broke, the tension keeps loosening up, no matter how tight those 17mms are, it seems to loosen (I even used 2 wrenches linked and got it to the point where I thought it would snap off). So I guess I'm kind of answering my own question.
So I guess my only option is to drill/tap or get a new carrier? Or can I go even tighter on those 17mm without twisting them off?
