I have a 01 larger laeger narrow framed 250r geo with the cr500 swing arm linkage. I believe the frame was built for a yz but fitted fur a crf in it now. I was told the swing arm takes 400ex pivot bearings..?? Also what chain slides work on it?

Pictures?

If it was built for a YZ, it may use YZ bearings, depending on the pivot bolt.

Are you sure it is a CR500 link or a YZ linkage?

The Laeger YZ's used a YZ linkage using an eyelet at the bottom of the shock, rather than a clevis. This would be one good way to tell if it was a conversion from YZ to CR, also the lower frame railings.

I only know of a few who had the YZ link coverted to a CR link, and I know it requires a lot of work.

Post some frame/swingarm, and linkage pics and I may be able to help you out!

2 things I know for sure....

1) If it's a CR500 linkage, it will have "KZ3" on the linkage itself.
2) If the chain slider has 2 bolts in it, it's for a 400EX. The 250R slider only has one bolt.
