Keep in mind there may be more to your bike than just jetting needed. My stock 250r cylinder with pipe and reeds uses 48 pilot, 155 main, and stock needle clip in the middle position, air screw 2 turns out from all the way in. Hope this helps.

Yah we gona give it a shot. It is my buddies bike, it does have the reed set up in it also. He was told to drop it back down to the last notch on the needle( closest to the top, fat end), I think he has a 160 main, the 42 or 45 pilot in it, a/f screw is only a turn or so out. I said that didn't even sound right.

Thanks

Needle clip all the way to the top is full lean, That will run like crap, if its only piped , do a 155-160 main and stock needle (assuming its a stock needle and carb?) go 2nd clip from the bottom or center 3rd from bottom stock pilot and needle for the year of your carb (every years is diffrent) 1 3/4 turns out on the air screw, and do plug checks you may have another issue? dont burn it up.
