whitch length should i run for hard recreational and some mx.2+ a arms or should i use 2+1. i was told 2+1 have a lot of bump steer. is this true.what are the benifits of both.

Well im guessing you have a 400ex.... The 2+1 will raise the center gravity a bit. I havn't heard anything about it causing more bump steer though. I would just get the 2+0.

What kind of machine are you putting this on? 2+1's transfur the riders weight back one inch and helps the tires find traction better. They are better suited for 2 strokes. +2's are better for four strokes like the 400ex that don't have a problem finding traction. The CG on a 400 ex is just about perfect so there really is no need for 2+1's or 3+1's. Thats why most guys go flat out +2 or +3 on their ex's. Hope this helps.

yes i ride a 03 400ex with 11-1 piston stage 2 hot cam hetrick exhaust. i just want to get the best suspension for my quad.thanks for the input.

LSR recommmended to me that no 400 use 2+1's.. Even thou they can make them for you.... :confused: :confused:

I have never had experience with the +2+1 arms, but I myself run the +2 setup and I like it.
