Racing tomorrow at gncc round 1 at west gate river ranch in sport class, #890. Wish me luck. Not expecting to do well, just don't want to be dead last and don't want to ever quit. I am shooting for the holeshot!

Im not a real big hill guy, i will go up them but river ranch and Georgia are my 2 favorite rounds!

Well I finished strong! Not sure I did any better than last in my class but I was just happy to finish. Rough track for sure! Still had energy to wheelie across the finish! Got in 4 laps.

Results are now on the website! I finished 12th in the sport class (400s) out of 12 lol. But I finished 105 out of 177 in the overall. The sport class is a lot faster than people think. The top 2 in the class finished in the top ten overall. I have a few pics but can't upload from my phone.

what kind of bikes was in the class with you? is the sport class only for 400cc production bikes?

Yes the class was made up of 400ex and ltz400, but there was a guy on a 300ex too. Class rule is 201-400cc production (no displacement reduction) for 15+ year olds. Not sure if 2 strokes are allowed or not. The production rule is just to keep guys from using custom frame bikes with 250cc dirt bike motors, although apex just came out with a factory one, but I'm not sure how many bikes you must manufacture to be considered production. Speaking of Walsh race craft is working on making their custom frame, ltr geometry and plastics, honda crf fuel injected powered hybrid a production model.

You racing anymore GNCC's? Im going to race that class for the Indy 100 and Ironman. It would be awesome to have someone i knew on the line with me... (knew as in forum friends lol) Btw accept my FR on facebook lol

I was gonna do the general but couldn't get off work. And can't afford to travel any further than Georgia to race. I plan on racing the ftr series though. And I didn't know who you were on fb, I'll accept it. Got a lot more pics on there

Im gonna be doing the race in Kentucky for sure cause its right down the road from me. And maybe if possible we might try the ironman and loretta lynn's.

And not sure if this is true or not....But I heard that you no longer have to be an AMA member to race GNCC, anyone else heard that?

Yes that is true, you do not need to have AMA membership

Yea GNCC said that they didnt like the way AMA cost their riders an extra $10 or something like that..
