Im about to buy jets for the 450r carb what are the some of the cheaper websites to buy from and should i buy keihn jets? Also wat pilot size and main should i start with? These are my mods stage 2 hotcam, curtis sparks x6 exhaust, wiseco 11:1 standard bore piston, and airbox lid off with uni. Also i live in louisiana.

Jets-R-Us is deff. the best. And I'd start with a 160 main, maybe 165, then a 52 pilot and 2.5 turns out on the a/f screw. That should get you in the ballpark.

I just checked out jetsrus. The prices are pretty good should I go with the oem cause it's cheaper or genuine jets? Also the kit I need with the main jets is 32 something but it doesn't say if the pilot jets are included

The kit only includes what's listed. They don't include pilot jets.

Just make sure that the pilot jets you get are the same length as the stock one cuz i've got longer ones before.

yamaha jets also work if you take the one 450r one with you. if you have a yami dealer close, they might have them if a honda dealer doesnt.

Usually everyone runs it in the 3rd notch from the top (flat end).

1. Remove the top cover
2. Get a fat phillips head and remove the 2 small screws holding the slide (if you use a thinner one you will strip them). Also helps if its magnetic.
3. Using needlenose or similar yank of the needle
4. Move it down to the 3rd or 4th notch from the flatend
5. Reassemble

Putting the c-clip higher makes it leaner, putting it lower makes it rich.
