Will the rear elka shock off of my 05 450r fit my 88 250r?

I'm building an '88 250r and I'v gotten a set of elka's for the front. To save money I figured I'd take the rear elka off of my 450r. WILL THIS WORK? THANKS IN ADVANCE!

not without modifing it, i beleive they are differnt lenghts too.

the bottom mount is also different, you can run a 450 swinger and linkage with alittle work
