Let's hear some far fetched stories u have heard from ppl over the years about quads

I work with a guy that has 2 97' Kawasaki 250 bayous and he claims they will 80mph and it seems the longer they sit in the garage the more speed they gain cuz I heard tell a guy hear awhile back that they would do 85-90 now

I've heard of a kid with a stock 250ex that thinks he can beat my friends crf150rb, when he can beat me on my 400ex.

Oh also a my friend has a 4x4 Arctic cat 400, and thought he could just smoke my 300ex, he posted all over facebook how his four wheeler is so fast and even told my friend who had a 400ex at the time that it was faster than his too. It was f****** hilarious when I was half way done the race and he was still in 2nd!

my old boss "ran airplane fuel" in his ds650 and out ran the cops down the highway. he later got drunk and started doing cocaine on the job and confessed that the bike was stolen... I quit and ratted him out...he also told me where he got the bike from....so I told the cops and they gave it back:cool:

My little brothers friends said his raptor 80 could outrun a blaster since he has super nice paddles on it.

Know another friend who thinks if you shift to a lower gear (such as 4th to 3rd) and give it more gas you'll go faster..drag racing is where he said this is valuable.....

It isn't uncommon to run airplane fuel. I've known other people to do it.

We used to run airplane gas in one the old cars cuz it used to be a lot cheaper than racing fuel back about 20yrs ago but can't say it made run another 40 or more mph faster Haha that's pretty good

I just rode my wife's CRF150RB yesterday and had a chance to wind it out. I'm 190 lbs without gear and I can confirm it will outrun a 400ex. I was surprised how much get up and go it has!

Had a friend tell me he and his 350 warrior could "walk on water." He proved himself wrong at about 35 mph, and I had to tow his *** home so him and the quad could dry out.

Neighbor told me his stock kfx 700 would run 90 mph. He wasn't saying chit when I passed him on 2 wheels in mid 2nd, my bike only tops out at 72ish.

Chineese pitbike dealer told me their hyosung 450r (trx450r knockoff) was one of the fastest bikes on the market. Said she would do 50mph, what a joke. Then my buddies dumbass uncle goes and buys the thing for 4 freaking grand!! Thing is slow and gutless as hell. This place also said all their chineese bikes are just as reliable as the new hondas, because they sponsor a guy who races a crf250r and they have to rebuild it all the time, the main problem being they have no idea how to rebuild an engine properly. Took them 3 months and 400 dollars in labour to put a new coil on my friends pitbike. They also replaced the rear wheel barrings and a week later they were dickered!! We gotta make an ANGRY thread where I can vent my feelings about this s*** hole of a place.
