Ok guys quick question what is the tire size and rim off set for the 400ex stock? What would you guys recommend 20 rear and 21 front is what i'm thinking for good all around riding. And what offsets do you guys run?

3+2 is stock offset meaning 3 inches inside 2 outside. i run +2 a arms with a 4+1 offset putting me at about 48",perfect for the trails i ride around here. i've been running 20 rears and 22 fronts,it just works for me and my machine.the shorter ur fronts the more quickly u will turn and obviously that works in the opposite way as well.i don't really notice to much of a difference but wanted to put it out there.

Hmm I heard some where that the stock front was 4+1 but I need to know the rear?

Stock front is actually about 3.75x1.75. its very oddball. Thats approx btw, might be off half an inch or so.

3:2 induces more bumpsteer but its manageable in most cases. I I run stock fronts, havent swapped b/c Ive yet to kill the stock wheels save for one where I smacked a tree good and taco'd the wheel and I replaced it with another stocker.

Rears I run 3+5 and it makes the rear about 47 inches, maybe a hair or so less.

You do on 3:2 you get about an inch gained up front, do 4:1 and you lose an inch up front.

Sorry I forgot to mention they are douglas aftermarkets.

Rear is approx 3+6 if anything stock.

Honestly 3+5 is common rear offset your gonna find.

Stock arms.

Front stock is about 43.5-44" wide, stock rear is about 45-46" wide. Depending on tire/wheel combos.

I've got stock axle and a-arms but when I do get +2 a-arms I want it about 48in wide front and rear.
