So I think I want a YFZ 450

I've been researching quads for a few months now and I've narrowed it down to a YFZ-450 and a few others. What years are better? I keep hearing about an oil mod... what's that about? I don't want to spend much more than $3000 on one. Do these have TPS? Any advice in general would be great

A 06+ yfz will probably be what your looking for. The yfzr will be out of your price range and the 04-05 are the ones that need to oil mod. It is basically installing a little nozzle that oils the wrist pin properly to prevent it from seizing. Also some say the 04/05 have electrical problems, I've never personally encountered it though.

I see a lot of 06s, 07+ are fewer and far between. Any common problems I should look for? Bends, breaks, cracks?
