a arm question?

This is probably a dumb question, but on extended a arms( +2 +1 ex.) I know the +1 is one inch forward, but the +2 is that 2 inches wider total, or is it 2 inches per wheel being 4 inches wider?

It's 2 inches wider per side, for a total of 4 inches wider.

No problem. Keep in mind, rear axles are listed a bit differently. For example a +4 axle will be 4 inches total wider than stock (+2 inches wider per side).
