This might be posted in the wrong spot but this was the only forum for raptors I found here.

My buddy has a 350 raptor. 2007. Pretty low hours on it. Hasn't been road hard. It came up with a nock and small metal particals in the oil. Really sounded like a rod. A loud solid nock .We took it apart yesterday. I didnt have the puller for the flywheel
so we took the motor to the yamaha dealer here in town and had it pulled off. It was very tight on the crankshaft, not loose in any way. We discovered what you see in the pics. The key way was still intact and was not sliped at all. But the crank and this hub are ruined. The rod was good and tight and all of the tranny gears we good. Can some one explain what happened here?

Sorry for the bad pic of the crank, will try to get better one tomorrow. It looks worse than the flywheel hub tho. Yamaha shop didn't have any idea what caused this.

The 350 forum is in a sub forum under the hybrid section but you wont get much help for 350s on this site
