The only LT setup Laeger makes is the T-Pin and as far as I know you can't get that for the 400ex. If you have a 250r you can though...

im pretty sure you can get a t-pin for a 400ex, plus if you think about it, 2300 aint that bad of a ripoff cuz you get
1. long travel a-arms...800ish
2. spindles...................200 each?
3. steering stem..........275ish
4. tie rod ends.............25 x 4

what we at? $1575.00 it is a lil bit high priced, but your gettin some serious quality there, if i was goin from scratch, no parts bike, id get a t-pin front end

actually i think the T-pin is only out for a 250r and a Cdale as of right now. i've seen one on a raptor but i don't think the general public can get that. I could be wrong though.

why wouldnt u be able to get one for a EX. Dont a R and 400EX use the same spindals? So why couldnt u cross them over??

I have called Mark Laeger directly and he says that he does make a long travel non kingpin a-arm.

Nacs sells the kit for a 250r and for a cdale. as for 400ex. I've heard that they were developing it for that, but that was a long time ago and i haven't seen it yet. I also heard that they were making one for the z/kfx400. i hope they do make it, soon.

So Laeger makes 19" a-arms that are not a T-Pin setup? I have never seen them...

You can get the same T pin set up on the 400ex as you can the 250r. With a option to run the 19" shcoks or the 16 or 16 1/4" PEP shocks.

What is T-pin? Is this only on long travel shocks?

I'd like to see it too. If they do make it, i'd try my best to get it. Sell the laegers i got, ROB A BANK, and call baldwin to put my order in.

can i send my 16" ZPS shocks to baldwin and have them changed to long travel. or do i have to buy a completely different shock.

T-pin is the spindle itself, and how it connects to the a-arm. It you look at the pic, there is a "swivel" rather than a ball joint. This allows for bind free movement in the front end. Everything sorta "flows" together when it moves, if ya know what I mean..

i dont believe they make a t-pin front end for a 400ex. (or maybe they do) but i know they arent hard to make it work. all you have to do i think is shave the busings on the a arms slightly so they fit the 400 ex frame. and maybe get some kind of adaptors to use 400ex brake calipers.

MXer if you were going to go to LT I believe you would have to get new shocks. I think you would be better off to sell the ones you got and get the new ones...
