I decided that im finally going to throw some lights on my R, but i was wanting to know how bright i can go without harming my stator? I have an oem stator, flywheel, ect. and ive been looking at a bunch of diff lights and bulbs, i really like the blueish white looking H.I.D bulbs but am affraid they will draw to much power. If i remember right you need to stay around 70 watts total? can anybody clarify this?

Doesn't take much wattage at all to make bright lights if you use LEDs

These pics are of a test bed I made that only uses 21 watts or so and could be made a lot brighter

when i had a stock bike years ago we would swap the stock bulb out for a 55/100w bulb to improve lighting and had no issues
