I haven't had to do anything to the swingarm part of this quad since I've had it so I'm not sure if its a Trx450r swingarm or not. Could some one help me out ? Also, where do I get the bearings, and the tubes the pivot bolt goes through? I can get the bearings, but couldnt find any info on the tubes..

If this is a Trx450r swingarm I should be running the same brake stay, rotor, and caliper correct? 250r stuff doesn't fit right?

I used the pivot tubes from the pivot works bearing kit. They had to be cut down to fit correctly tho.

Not sure about the swingarm. Looking like a newer swinger tho. The bearing housing pinch blocks are the double pinch bolt style vs the single pinch bolt style I have on my Lsr CRF no-link.

its probably there dc3 or dc4 swingarm wich used 250r parts but i dont know what they used for bearings i would bet crf 450 that way everything still works the same with the motor and bearings. best bet is to call them they will probably try and sell u the parts houser did that to me but i figured out there yz chassis used yz swing arm components wich makes sense.

I used a pivot works 88 250r swing arm bearing kit and cut down the tubes that it came with. Works just fine.

Right side is quite a bit longer than the left. But didn't have the caps on the inside, only on the outside of the swinger.is that how its suppose to be?

Yes, the right side is longer than the left side. The tubes in the kit I used were long enough to cut down. Caps on the outside and I believe there is supposed to be a rubber seal on the inside on both sides that didn't come with the kit.

I have the same then. Do you remember where you got the rubbers from?

I actually don't have them. I run two sets of bearing on each side now. (new ones in the swing arm and old on the outside) the theory behind this is that the bearing work them selves out of the swing arm and don't last long. So my friend Mike suggested trying to sets to see if it will help them last and stay in the swing arm. Doesn't need to be bearings. Just something to keep the inner bearings inplace.
