Kicker problem

Just purchased a 2005 450R. And just noticed that once I get it started, the kicker does not stay snug against the plastic. I suspect the spring is missing or worn out. Anyone know what the part is called and how much it cost about? Thanks

I dont know what its called maybe return spring? I had this same problem with mine. I took it apart and put a very small washer in it to put more pressure on it. It works good. I think over time the spring looses a little tension or gets shorter. When you take the lever off all there is , is a spring and ball. Just make sure to grease it up before putting it back together.
