450 plastic on a 400?

I have heard from several people if u get like 04 05 trx plastic then it will bolt up with a few minor adjustments. Has anyone had any luck with this or know anything any advice is greatly appreciated

Sounds like it would be alot easier to do an 05-07 plastics swap. They really never changed the frame on the new ones so I think it should bolt up really easy and not look all that different from a 450r. The 450r sounds like a big pain to rig up.
