G-force makes good stuff, my stock axle bent the first time I crashed it so I replaced with the gforce axle.

since then Ive crashed horribly many times and made many hospital trips since then...lol. Even fliped end over end at 60mph for more then 75ft.

The axle is still straight as a arrow, the only down fall is the chrome flakes off after a year:rolleyes:

RPM makes good axles to though.

Had the g-force axle, too wide for my tastes but it was impossible to kill. I never had an issue with the stock axle, but I dont do insane mx type jumps or crash very badly.

A-arms Id get houser, JD, roll design, etc. Do not buy bugurd or full flight, they are junk.

That's a dumb question because everyone is gonna start fighting about best exhaust... I'd go sparks or motoworks. Huge price difference but same quality.. Also a header is pretty much for looks, it really does nothing more than stock

Sparks is nice but VERY loud and by very its damn near deafening. Personally Id buy an HMF or motoworks.

I like my white brothers e-series. Has the plates took off the end and it sounds great! Not crazy loud but still has a nice sound to it.

Don't buy a Durablue axle whatever you do, they are junk. Get the G-force or RPM. I like my Big Gun Evo and have never used anything else. I've heard the Motoworks is the best bang for the buck.

I love the exhaust subject haha I'm just putting in my vote for hmf comp series.

I vote pro circuit, my T-4 sounds much better and pretty sure performs better than my white bros e-series did.

I bought a G-Force for MX and bent it my first season.. It's usable, and I finished the season with it, but it still bent..

RPM is supposed to be the best for MXing.. I want get one, I'll see what GForce says about their warrenty first though. I want to throw the replacement G-Force on my 400ex (450r rear end) anyway and go with the RPM for piece of mind.. but we shall see.

My only concern is that if you are breaking a LSR, you would probably break a G-Force. See if LSR will replace it for you, that would be ideal.

as for exhaust: Find one in the classifieds or get the Motoworks s/o and grind the header welds. <-- a few members are swearing by this setup. Seems like a good 'bang for your buck'

thanks for all the info. i found a good axle on craigslist for my 400 but he dont knw what kind it is but it looks alot like my lsr. it coms with a new sprocket, break, axle nut, and both wheel hubs. it looks like a brand new axle.

If you think it's brand new and it's to good to be true it may have a slight bend in it. If you can I would take a set of V blocks with you when you look at it and make sure it's straight. Even the slightest bend that you can't see with the naked eye gets really bad when you get going 30 or 40 down the road. Just a warning.

the fact that a lsr broke with only that many rides makes me think there was a heat treat error along the lines. but deffinately rpm for the axle now. aarms i run houser stuff simply because i cant afford walsh at the moment.

To get the bolt out will be a total pain.

Soak it with everything under the sun, pblaster, wd40, chain lube, etc, etc. After soaking it for at least 3 days you can try to remove it by hand. If it doesnt want to move then you should try using an impact gun on the bolt side and have an assistant tap the nut side after you have removed the nut. It dont come off a sawzall or similar is going to have to cut it off.

Should you get it off and not damage it (Id order another just to be sure) lube the hell out of it with anti-seize and put it back together. Chances are all of the bearings and bushings will be worn out as well so consider replacing them all at once.
