WHat would happen if....?

I know the valves on the 400ex are supposed to be very low so what would happen if you opened them up higher? would it bend them? increase the flow or anthing? just wondering. And also i amwanting to get a 450r carb on my 440. i want a 04 or 05 carb. but the exhaust is stock wil i feel an increase in power?

Idk about the valves, but you would deff. see a difference with the 450R carb. Even with a stock exhaust it will still be a big difference, and you would get even more with a slip-on and ground header welds.
