has anyone tryed putting a Harley motor or something like that into a atv?

years ago there was a harley/honda build in a dirtwheels article. if i remember correctly they used a sportster motor with some 250x chassis componants. they called it the hogtrax. only a duner bike.

look around. a harley dealer out of kentucky built one with chuck calvert. "thunder quad" i think it was a ltr450 chassis. he exhibitoned it at one of our ice races while they were still doing r&d on the suspension. if i remember correct they ran it with the i.c.e. indoor series.

they use harley motors in cr and crf chassis for hillclimbers.

This has crossed my mind a few times. 1200 sporty set up with some cam work, should make for a snotty arse set up..
