2004 suzuki 400z ltz limited edition won't start

Hi i just recently purchased this 2004 suzuki ltz 400 quadsport. I was riding it around all day and then when i put it in my trailer it made a weird noise and then would not turn on. It does turn over, and there is gas in it. please help
