I put my FMF powerbomb header on today and since my 400X was all torn down I took the opportunity to install a 42 pilot since I was having starting issues and the 40 was turned almost all the way up.

So, I put the 42 pilot in and it was WAY, WAY too much fuel. :eek2: I could not adjust the fuel screw low enough without turning it completely down.

I put the 40 back in and now it runs like a top again. It is just tough starting with the 40 in the cold.

I had a 42, but went back to a 40 when I put a Works Connection fuel screw in place of the stock screw, and set it to their directions. Mine is usually a cold blooded b***h too...

Even with the 42 I was still a bit lean. Had to use the choke to start it when it was cold out.

Yeah that's weird I also have to use the choke when it's cold with a 42 pilot.
