hybrid advice?

My buddy found a 200 honda 3 wheeler chassis and he wants to put an xr400 engine in it, i was wanting to know if the oil cooler and tank would fit the xr motor from a 400ex. I was told they are basically the same engine but not sure. Anyone ever messed with the xr motors? Any help on part compatability would be helpful.. Thanks

Probaly lol i have a 85 big red 250 no one can ride it except me because they all flip it. :D
