2005 450r carb piece?

i got a 459r carb for my 400ex and i rebuilt it, neeless to say i have a small brass piece, cylindrical, o rings on both sides, it looks like the slow air jet on the diapgrams, but i cant find where it goes. Any help would be GREAT

It looks to be that it goes to the air cut off valve. Small brass piece with o rings on each side goes under it in the passage?
