TT swingarm

What is the point of having a -1 swing arm for TT/ flat track racing?
Does it really help that much or should I just save some money and use the stock swinger?

It puts more traction to the rear wheels and also makes the bike turn easier. Depending on the weight of the rider is the determining factor for the negative length of swingarm to use. You will also need a good linkage to get your power to the ground also.
