Been slow around here lately so ill try and help out haha

whats the life of these LTR tranny's in MX? Can i get a full season out of em?

BTW, im thinking of getting a stock LTR, throwing some PB1's on it and just having it as a fun bike to hit up the tracks once and a while, it won't have any motor work but it will be getting the snot beaten out of it while it's on the track

My '06 tranny lasted from April of '06 until Dec '11. I was replacing the crank and noticed that the 3rd gears were pitting, so I replaced them.
I had great luck with the '06, but can not comment on other years.

I believe 06 was the best year to have. 08's have the worst tranny problems from what i have read and heard. But then again my buddy has a 08 ltr that was bought used and we mostly ride mx and his tranny is buttery smooth.

my 06 lasted till last march 11' , but even then it was not a tranny issue, A rock jammed my shifter up at wot in 3rd and destroyed the dogs off 4th gear

I hear 06-07 are the better trannys.
