Looking into getting some instead of the regular Dg ones i have now. I found a set of tusk ones brand new on ebay for like $165 free shipping. But there chrome. I want them in black. Can i get them in black for that price anywhere?

I couldn't find those in black either, I went ahead with the rock nerfs in black with new heelgaurds and pegs, they look really goof and very sturdy, I'd say they are worth the extra bucks.

I broke a set of rock nerfs. I absolutly LOVED them, but i broke the mount behind the heel guard.

Im really hard on stuff tho.

I heard from many members on here that the tusk is awesome.

I have some older AC nerfs that they dont show as available anymore, and they support my fat ***, so they are pretty sturdy... probably gonna pay twice as much tho...

I had a set of AC with the heal guards and my weight alone bent them in multiple places.. Thats funny that yours held up. My pro armor fat pegs seem to be holding up great!

i think he wants some with the heel guards built in.

If you do buy some without heel guards make sure to at least keep your stock heel guards.

Yeah? I am sitting at about 285lbs without any gear on and mine are very strong... Add a helmet, goggles, and all my clothes and boots and I am WELL over 300lbs... and that is on a good day... haha! No complaints from my nerfs... yet...

I sit at 250 without gear and they just bent after one race from my weight lol. I expected that from my weight any nerf would do that.. Oh well:devil:. Jumps must have been too big

Tusk here with the heel guards, no issues at all, sturdy as hell!

Maybe as I become a more aggressive rider, things may change (Hope not...). But we will see. Good info on the Tusk nurfs for future reference tho...

Yeah i actually already have nerfs without heel guards. Just some aluminum dg's. Its why im looking into ones with a heel guard versus buying heelguards hoping maybe they will fit with my nerfs

Just bent one of my Rock t-9 nerfs yesterday when I clipped a tree. Bent the nerf in so that it wedged the brake pedal to on...Not sure if a hit like this would damage other nerfs though?
