im trying to tighten the arm joint to the spindle and all that happens when i turn the nut it the joint turns with it! A 14mm doesnt hold the lower part, neither does 13, and 12 is too small. They are stock and they are 08

You have to apply pressure to the the balljoint for it not to spin while tighting the nut.

You didnt have to make 16 threads on the same thing.

Did you mess up the threads on the ball joint when you took it off? Did you remove them by hitting them with a hammer or something?

Assuming the threads are good on your ball joint you can apply a little pressure with a big C clamp with the top and bottom ball joints in between. Pretty sure the bolt portion between the threads and the ball is slightly tapered, so the C clamp should provide enough friction to stop the bolt from spinning when you tighten the nut.
