I picked up 450r pegs for super cheap and I noticed they sit lower on the frame than 400ex pegs do. The problem I am concerned about running into is the rear brake pedal being too high and causing my boot to get caught on it. Does anyone have a solution? I've never had to adjust the height of the rear brake pedal :/

put your stock ones back on and call it a day or get some ims roll...

I bought the quad with pegs that were welded to the nerfs, so I don't have stock pegs and I can't afford IMS pegs right now.

Plenty of people have used the 450r peg on their 400ex's so obviously they've made it work.

I think they just dealt with it...I have been on here for some time now and never heard any complaints, maybe someone will chime in but stockers are cheap 15.00 I believe..

I just put some 450r stock pegs on my ex too. But i haven't notice the problem your having. I also have foot peg extenders on my. So my foot probably sits about a 1/4in higher. My boot is not even touching the stock peg. Maybe putting some extenders on yours might solve your problem. You think a 1/4 or 1/2 raise on the peg would give you enough clearance from hitting the brake?

If it's bothering you enough, I have my stock pegs I'll sell ya.
I could do $15 plus shipping or so...
Let me know.
