rom what Ive heard, thats pretty common and apparently they redesigned it.

Looks like that could of been painful. How did it happen; roll-over, hard hit, or just developed. Were you still able to steer?

Update steering stem flag.... happened to me also. They're about $80 for a new one.

They over tighten them from the factory. Mine was cracked when I pulled it out of the crate. KTM replaced mine but it was new.

yeah, replace it and tighten it properly, and it won't be a problem again. Takes a pretty good crash to break one. I keep one on hand and haven't needed it for a few years, with several crashes! :D

Cracked it from usual MX riding. I was blitzing some whoops 4th pinned at Little Sahara and it cracked the rest of the way and the bolt on top came out. I was miles from my truck but it stayed together and still feels intact but im gonna get a new stem lol
