dead spot and stalling on the eEFI YFZ

just got a 10 YFZ450 EFDI the other day, been raced but in good shape. problem is the throttle response. when you give it gas to fast it will stall,or backfire,,also holeshot is just crap,,the raptor 250 carb model blows it away.

What mods are done to the quad/engine? If there are mods done, what programmer is on it?

All of the EFI models you have to roll on the throttle then hammer down. If you stab it at idle it will bog and/or stall. Many of the people running MSD FI controllers or Vortex and GT THunder ECUs have been able to reduce the bog/stall issue greatly.

I can holeshot many modded atvs on mine and it only had pipe, FI controller, and a K&N. It takes some time to get used to, but you just have to remember to roll on throttle instead of an all out stab.
