Like many others, I decided to get rid of the ebrake cable and assembly on my 400 and installed a blockoff plate.

But for whatever reason, I still wanted to keep the switch that made the bike only start in gear if the clutch it pulled. I'm not sure why, but that's a feature I wanted to keep haha
So my solution...
Get a clutch perch from a model that doesn't have an ebrake...

I got a perch from a cbr600RR with the switch intact. My new motion pro clutch cable worked perfectly with this lever, and I still retain the safety feature of no start in gear without clutch.
The connectors for the switch attached no problem but the rubber boots no longer fit. I cut them off and sealed up the connectors with hondabond (i didn't have any RTV on hand so that'll do)
