So I purchased a set of Elka stage 5 front and rear shocks, along with a Elka linkage for my 450r. The front shocks mounted up fine which I expected, however the back shock and linkage is a whole different story. The linkage has the two pieces to it just like any other one that I have delt with, so I proceeded to put it on with the longer wishbone from the frame to the shorter link at the swingarm. Four hours later I still could not get the shock to mount up. Trying every possible way it didn't work, come to find out the shorter link goes from the frame down and the longer one attaches to the swingarm. Never in a million years would I thought it would have worked that way. Finally after five hours I had it together. It seems as it is going to work very well, but I just was wondering if anybody else found this very strange?
